ArtCart was formed six years ago in hopes of remedying the lack of art educations offered in elementary schools. Hushion first saw this need as a young creative girl growing up in the Parkersburg community with very little arts exposure and guidance. ArtCart has filled this creative deficit in Wood County Schools. The program has expanded exponentially each year since its creation and currently offers instruction to all Wood County Elementary schools without art instruction.
