ArtCart was formed in 2016, in hopes of remedying the lack of art educations offered in elementary schools. Hushion first saw this need as a young creative girl growing up in the Parkersburg community with very little arts exposure and guidance. ArtCart began as pilot program and has expanded exponentially each year since its creation, currently offering art instruction to 27 elementary in the state of West Virginia.
